Sunday Devotional

Let's take a look at how we go about doing our evangelism. it is unfortunate how some of us Christians go about this process. Evangelism is biblical and scriptural as recorded in the bible, Jesus came to save the lost souls, and these souls even at the point of his death, jesus still prayed for them asking the father to forgive them because they know not what they do (Luke 23:24), because ofhis love toward the sinners, even at that point, Christ refused to condemn them, this he could have done and immediately the effect would have been visible.

Luke 5 talked about the parable of the lost sheep, where one got missing out of a hundred, but the shepherd went after the missing one leaving the other ninety and nine, this is because he knows how important that one was, but in the world we find ourselves today, most "evangelists" would say, i have ninety and nine, the lost one is of no relevance, no wonder the bible told us "There is so much Heaven over one soul repent".

Jonah, in the book of Jonah chapters 1,2,3 and 4 where God commanded him to go unto the city of Nineveh asking them to turn from there sinful ways. These are scriptures shown to us that Christ loves sinners, he loves those who don't believe in him. Please dearly beloved of God, when we preach, when we evangelize, let's try as much as possible to be like Christ who in all, still love those we are preaching to(unbelievers), Our emotions must not take over the message. The message should be love, preach Christ and not religion, preach love and not prophesy, death unto them because they don't know Christ, this is not the mind of Christ. Jesus came for the sinners, just as only the sick needs a physician.

Beloved of my Father, i want to leave you with these words in Matthew 9:37".... The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few, 38, pray ye therefore the Lord of harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
Let's do the above while it is day, at night, no one can do anything.
Have a blessed day.
